CERVICAL CANCER

CERVICAL CANCER is the 2nd commonest cancer affecting women in Malaysia, (1st is breast cancer).
Often affects women in the prime of their lives ie age 40-49, 50-59 then 60-69.
Is caused by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus).
HPV infection transmitted through genital skin contact, 80% of sexually active women will have..Every women is at risk.
Multiple partners may increase risk futher.
Now vaccination is available to prevent HPV infection therefore will reduce the incidence of CERVICAL CANCER!!!
Is available to all girls age 9yrs and above till age 45.
PREVENTION IS BETTER THEN CURE..go to ur nearest clinic for vaccination now!!
